Aviles' defense is just fine when he's playing a natural position like SS or 2B. He has little to no experience at 3B and RF.

It was a completely pointless move. He fields poorly at 3 IF positions and they decide to try him in the OF too. I don't get that thinking at all. Plus, he sucks with the bat. Backups from KC are never a good idea.

Adjust our hitting, new strategy. Felix throws it down the middle on the first pitch most of the time. Swing at the first pitch. He also seems to throw more outside as the pitch count goes up. Swing at the first pitch and that might help us.

Aviles was coming off TJ Sugery and typically hits .300 which is gold for a backup player. And his defnese at 2B and SS is above average. He's hit well with us but people are s***ing on him because his defense is poor outside of his position. It's really not his fault that Tito put him in right field.
