Not enough playing time. Trumbo's probably the favorite as a position player and Pineda and Hellickson are a couple of pitchers who are more likely to win.

I think in the end it's going to come down to Hosmer or Pineda, depending on if Pineda bounces back from his rough stretch. I suppose Hellickson or Ackley are possibilities, but I would guess it's going to be Hosmer.

I would pick Hosmer as well. The Royals are going to be something if they have pitching in that division, it's theirs for a long time.

As for Reddick chances, it's slim. He hasn't gotten much playing time. He will probably get bench for a .100 hitter McDonald with Crispy Chicken pitching today.

ROY is not a value stat, even though Buster Pussy got it last season pretty much purely based on the fact that he was a catcher who's miserable season was turned around by one unsustainable month, so Trumbo.
