Great teams beat the teams they are SUPPOSED to beat! And why in the name of all that's holy would you give Lackey an ovation when he left the mound? Yeah he was good for 4 innings. But is that what we are paying for, 4 innings of work. It definitely showed where his limit is. After that he started missing his spots and poor pitch selection. How are we supposed to beat the really good teams when we play like this. Dont even get me started about men left on base. Relief pitching was terrible, but hey, Salty threw someon out! WOW, I have to calm down!

The thing that is killing the Sox is the lack of a solid #3 starter. Lackey, Wake and Miller are crap.

Buchholz screwed the pooch getting hurt.

R.Williams 2.05, Lackey 1.55, Miller 1.88. These guys are getting creamed.

 

How can you justify throwing crap out on the mound with a $100 million dollar lineup?
