With two HR's today, Jacoby now has 15 on the season. Many people wonder why and how he has gained power. What do you think? It is clear he lifted weights and slightly changed his stance.

Just saying, one has to at least broach the subject.

His offseason workouts included doing the "Navajo Power Dance" 3 times daily, which consisted of dancing and singing around a fire while holding a bat he carved out of an ancient tree. Each of these dances concluded with him saying a prayer to the navajo god of hitting while burning a picture of Joba Chamberlain and inhaling the smoke. At the end of offseason workouts he spent 2 weeks in the woods, naked, with the bat on a vision quest. At the end of the 2 weeks the vision came to him in the form of the bat taking life and showing him the proper mechanics for power.

Or he just worked out. I don't know.

A lot of players begin to hit for more power in their late 20's.

Bingo.

Combined with a better approach at the plate and having a guy like AGod to watch everyday and emulate.

We're talking about Jacoby Ellsbury, not the Yankees roster from the late '90's.

What? Chuck Knoblauch was the only hitter in the late 90's on the Yankees roster linked to HGH

How about the Yankees roster from 2004? Pretty much everyone on that team was on steroids at one point.

Even lil' Brian Roberts was doing HGH. I wouldn't put it past any MLB player. There's no reason not to.

And don't knock the Yanks without putting an asterisk next to Manny and Ortiz.

How about the Red Sox roster from 2004? Pretty much only won a championship because Papi and Manny were juicing

I'm sure plenty more than just them were juicing and I'm sure plenty of members of all the teams they faced were using the same stuff.

This is why when a psychologist holds up a picture of a Yankees fan the first words that come to mind are never "polite" or "humble".

You know, if you wear gloves, it will protect your knuckles from damage when they constantly drag on the ground.

If that makes you sleep over the biggest choke job in the history of sports

Can't wait to hear how it's unfair that Manny and Ortiz beat Giambi, A-Rod and Sheffield.

And they choked hard. Would you say this is the best ever MLB postseason comeback or..

If the Yankees beat Lee in Game 7 it will be the greatest comeback in MLB post season history

I just think its funny how quick some Red Sox fan's are so quick to take jabs at the Yankees for PED usage when their own team is just as guilty.

Who are they to judge?

Isn't that calling the kettle black. Were you in a black out when you came into this thread to post a picture reading "Human Growth Hormone" and started the back and forth?

Don't even try that ********. You came in here and accused Ellsbury of using HGH when no one said a thing about the Yankees before that. Don't get butthurt because we're talking about those pinstripe punks. You set yourself up and that's what you get for trying to stir s*** up.
