Would it make sense if I called Miller's effort a "good pitcher's bad outing?" Like the kind of bad outing good pitchers still fight through and pull something good out of?

No, because he hasnt been that good thus far. His WHIP coming into this game was 1.48 and he now has 13K in 22.2IP. He hasnt been good at all, and tonight, against an AL offense, he was exposed.

Well, I....hold on, I...ow.

Sorry, for a second there I tried to care about your opinion in the slightest and it made my head hurt. I'm okay now though, don't worry.

They're right about Miller. There's no way Miller's going to pitch effectively if he continues to allow this many baserunners and strike out so few batters. That's what I was saying when he was getting good results as far as runs scored. It's possible that Miller's simply nervous about getting another chance at the big leagues and over time he will get his walks down and his strikes up like they were in AAA. But I wouldn't count on it.

I'm really hoping to see Weiland's major league debut on Sunday. With is 3.00 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 9.6 K/9, he deserves a chance over a washed up Millwood.

No doubt that he deserves the chance. But I think service time and options will take precedent. Millwood is a bum who could give you two throwaway starts without having to start Weiland's clock or eat an option.

Phew, been a while since they were in 1st place. I brought the Coco attendance mojo tonight.

Also, anyone see the autistic blind kid sing the National Anthem? Fantastic.

Hpw many games have you been to this year? You go to a couple like every month.
