Dude. 2 runs against Cliff Lee with our 5-9 hitters going McDonald - Varitek - Cameron - Scutaro - Beckett IS getting pounded.

 

McDonald left f***ing 14 runners on base in TWO games against Pitt. Francona put out a s***** line up and gave Beckett zero room for error.

 

I'm noticing a trend here you keep mention the 5-9 hitters. Did you forget Ells, Pedroia, A-God, and Youk are still in the lineup? Whatever man.

The point is that you and RSFFL are reacting to a few reactionary posts because of the 2 run HR, the line up, and the opposing pitcher.

 

It's not like we've all stopped rooting for the Red Sox. But realistically, we have a really low chance of coming back with this line up.

 

But, realistically, we still have a chance. It's never over, you'd think this fanbase would get that more than any other providing what happened in 2004.

No. I didn't forget. But I realize that Youk's bat is no longer in service because of McDonald.

Nobody actually thinks that the Red Sox have zero chance of coming back. But realistically, the offense that Francona put out there today does not give us a good chance of winning. Especially not when we're down 2 already. And especially not when every other inning is going to have 2-3 of Mac, Tek, Cam, Scut, and Beck in it.

Appreciate the compliment but I really don't care what anyone on the internet thinks of me. You guys don't hae to like me it's cool I;m not here to make friends. I'm here to talk sox and it's not even enjoyable anymore. I'm flipping my s*** a little bit to much I'll admit but after seeing this "give up" mentality over and over again it gets pretty annoying and it's pissing me off. I told two people eat s*** big whoop. I see name calling here on a daily basis. That's exactly what they need to do for acting this way.

 

I'm sure I'm getting on everyones nerves feel free to block me don't worry I won't cry over it.

A lot of things could happen. Someone could run into one, someone could make an error. There are many ways to score runs and until that last out is made, this team is not out of it whatsoever.
