Hey everyone!

Me and my wife are brazilian and huge fans of the Sox! She went to Boston last year and fell in love for the team, and came back making up my mind! U know what they say...u can't just pick up a team, the team picks u up!

Well, anyways, as you all know, Brazil is the soccer land, and of course we are also huge soccer fans, but its really hard to get to know other sports, cause soccer is all the media talks about. So we're having some trouble finding mates to watch the games with, and actually, we don't have cabo so we don't even know HOW to watch the games....we've been looking for some internet links but the time fuse also doesn't help.

Anyways, I thought joining a RS forum would help us get in touch with the team and the game, cause to be honest, we kinda don't know the rules yet...lol...soccer is really the dominant sport down here.

Looking forward to talking to you guys!

hey man, thanks for the tip btw, i'll follow the site.

No man, Santos is great, Neymar is a genius and pel? played there his whole carrer (in brazil), but we live south, in a city named Curitiba. We support a team called Atl?tico Paranaense. It's considered the best team in brazil, by the statistics. We have the most modern stadium in south america and the entire country reconizes our supportes as the best in brasil also. Unfortunately, we haven't bhad luck those last years. We actually remind the sox in its own way, I guess that's why my wife went to NY and Boston, and she didn't even mind seeing the Yankes, but fell in love right away with the Sox.

Yeah, everybody, come here for the World Cup! It will be great! Atletico's Stadium was chosen as one of the stadiums to hold the games, i hope we end up having nice games here! Curitiba is also considered the best city of Brazil, the cleanest, richest, most organized, etc. I recomend! And, oh, of course, the most beautiful girls from brazil are from the south, thats a FACT.

I've watched some Atletico Paranaense's games, but just as you said something has been wrong with your team lately, hope they'll do better. You're the first brazilian i know who like baseball hehehe... so welcome and feel free to ask or emit your opinion, good baseball talk and nice people around.;)
