He's 2-0 vs. Boston with a .64 ERA, .86 WHIP, and .133 BAA. Granted, it's only over 14 innings (one shutout and one 5 innings 1ER performance) but it doesn't look like we've phased him....yet.

But, do remember that this team was very righty heavy last year, and this year it is very lefty heavy. It has been discussed in depth, but Masterson's pitches are very unbalanced. To put it into perspective, when he pitched the shutout last year, Hermida and Reddick were in the outfield, and Drew was this team's best LHH.

As long as that means no Mike Cameron in the lineup because thats four extra outs we get back. Mike Cameron is seriously full of fail in every aspect of the game. I'm more excited for his contract to be up than Drew's.

An 8 game winning streak and a jump from fourth to second place in a little over a week wasn't enough to prove the Sox are 'back'? A win in game 1 of a series against the Guardians is more important than sweeping the Yankees, Tigers, and Orioles all in a row and then taking two of three against the Cubs?
