I understand that. Crawford wasn't hitting like a number 8 and Pedroia wasn't hitting like a number 2 but do we just forget about April? Yeah, he's looked good in May but say Crawford was hitting 2 in NY the game he went 0-4 you all would've been ready to kill Francona and started saying how Crawfors needs to move back down. Honestly if anyone thinks that man earning 142 will bat 8 forever then they need a reality check. I agree it's something to be discussed but damn every game Crawford was hitting 8 people were behind the computer ranting. The time will come unfortunately it's not now. Not to long ago people disliked the fact Youk was hitting 4th. Then came the HR's and everyone was all cool with it again. You see how it goes? I don't think people need to overreact for EVERY move that doesn't please them.

The main problem is there was a long time where Crawford was looking good and he didn't get moved. You don't constantly move people around all the time, but get some consistency, a consistency that IS GOOD FOR THE TEAM. Consistently batting Crawford 8th is bad. He performed good for a few weeks and wasn't moved when he should have been. Batting him 8th for that long kills him and the team more than it helps. Hitting in front of Varitek or Saltalamacchia all the time absolutely kills his skills. You put him 2nd and everyone moves down a slot, and Crawford sees better pitches, has more oppurtunities to use his speed, etc. than he did if he was hitting infront of a black hole. If he was moved up after the first few days of him getting hot then I guarantee you he would of been hitting better this month than he already is. He may of had a stretch of 2 bad hitting games but that wouldn't warrant him to go back down at all and none of us here are stupid enough to think that.

To me, the thing that's worse than the people who overreact and bitch and moan about the team are the people who bitch and moan about the people who bitch and moan. Really, it's a board of sports fans, do people honestly expect to see posts like "oh, we're losing 5-0, but we could come back possibly" or "he's not batting where he should be, but that's fine someday he will!" or "well he's pitching terribly and has a high pitch count and he's still in the game, that's alright though we don't have to win all the time"

We've seen Britton before and he pitched well but Ells, Gonzo and Ortiz are raking right now and will hopefully make adjustments so we should be able to score.

Well said my freind! Did anyone seriously think we would come back last night, if so you are flat out lying, that is our biggest comeback after six in years. I understand i'm annoying when I bitch and moan but the people who are overly optimistic no matter what are annoying as well.

I'm not expecting everyone to be optimistic, I never said that. As a matter of fact earlier in the season when we sucked I said it was cool to bitch. I guess me complaining about others bitch grinds your gears and that's okay but to me overreacting for stupid s*** irritates me. If we're losing 30-0 I don't expect people to say "It's okay we got this". Like I said nothing wrong with being upset about your team but people make such a big deal out of nothing.
