I made a game thread. That game got rained out. Someone else made a game thread for the next game, and in order to go with the flow, I endorsed that game thread. The Sox lost. Clearly, the gods of mojo wanted more from me than a mere endorsement.

Today, I answer their call.

Everyone in the rotation seems to have gotten the memo, Clay. Your turn.

Win.

I took a look, and it appears that this 6 game stand is the longest west coast trip all season. If they go 3-3 here, they'll be in pretty good shape for the rest of the season.

3-3 for this West coast trip sounds good to me, now lets make it happen.

4 games against the Angels, whose entire starting rotation is right handed. Oh, did I mention that in a 4 game series, we're not playing against Weaver?

It's good that we're finally facing some RHP's hopefully we can hit them hard.

Jed Lowrie should be hitting third. Also' date=' fourth, fifth, and sixth. Also, leading off.[/quote']

Should probably let him be manager too.

RED SOX (5-11)

Drew RF

Pedroia 2B

Gonzalez 1B

Youkilis DH

Lowrie 3B

Scutaro SS

Crawford LF

Varitek C

Ellsbury CF

Pitching: RHP Clay Buchholz (0-2, 6.60).

That's the lineup I've been hoping to see consistently for some time now, with the exception of Ortiz not being there and Scutaro starting at SS. Right now, Drew is getting on base pretty well and he's always been solid as a leadoff guy.

Keeping Crawford in one spot (7th) will help him get out of his slump IMO and having Ells hit 9th gives us a guy that should be able to turnover the lineup and get it back to the top with at least one guy on base. Now if we can just get Clay to man up and pitch like he's capable of, we'll be in great shape.

Anyone have a good online stream for radio? I skimmed the thread about this, but it seemed like most of them were day-by-day websites.
