A great sweep of KC, now a stretch of road games at Toronto and Tampa, then home games with Toronto and NY. They can make up some ground here.

 

It seems like a great time to play these teams. Toronto is missing Adam Lind and Encarnacion, and NYY is missing most of its starting rotation. Now if only Tampa would make that David Price trade in the next four days...

With all the inter-league play I find myself watching more and more AL games. I know maybe a 10th of what you guys know about the AL but for what it's worth I must say that the KC sweep was a stunner. (they took 3 of 4 from us)

 

You're gonna pass Tampa Bay this week and bear down on the Empire as Toronto settles in to the .500 team they are. It was a bad break that the Yankmee's caught the Reds with half of their all star infield on the DL. Of course it was a good break for the Cardinals. The Reds were getting too close.

 

The Sox WILL be in the WC race in the next 2 weeks and this weird first half will be just a memory.

[Behindenemylines]

Optimism ended with the three straight loses to the Jays this week. This team has no chance of making the playoffs so the thought process should be to prepare for 2015.
