How are we playing this poorly right now? Did Tito really do that bad of a job getting this team ready to go to start the season? Are we just that bad?

Can't blame the coach. Pitching coach maybe. Whatever the case they just looked bad right from February.

Beckett is cooked. After watching many a rough start from a future playoff team, I would say that you guys need to chill out a little. They suck, right now. But thus far, their pitching staff has let them down. I have a feeling that the sox staff will be in the top 1/3 of all of baseball, so that will be fixed. And the bats will warm up.

Lack of chemistry. Look at the Miami Heat. Everyone was freaking out that the weren't gelling right away early in the season. Give it time.

They can't even get swings and misses. I miss John Farrell.

Chemistry in baseball is overrated. It's all about slumps and peaks. Thus far, the sox have more slumpers than peakers in the lineup and all slumpers thus far in the rotation. You need at least 4 guys peaking in your lineup at once to stay consistent.

Farrell had Beckett for 5 years, and only really got one great season out of him. C Young has had Beckett for one game.

The problem is that by the time they do "gel" it might be too late. In this division you don't have the luxury of a slow start.

Nice Damon arm there Crawford...

This isn't basketball. If this were the Bruins I'd be next level pissed right now. This team has no passion all the chemistry and talent in the world coudln't change that.

3-1 Feels worse then it really is lol.

this team is struggling in all aspects and yeah spring training was a joke where no starters made it to 6th inning and our hitters were horrible yet pulled by 5th. love terry but this team is in awful shape and seems to not look like a team that is ready to win.

How they are leaving Beckett in right now, I dont know. He's coming off injury, it's cold as f***, it's his first start of the season, he's looked terrible, and he has thrown 104 pitches.

It's not about only Beckett though. Every pitcher is getting hit right on the screws. The offense might be fine but the pitching looks like you and me can get up there and hit the ball with some noise.

I was watching the Cleveland feed in the first couple innings. The announcers were talking about how people have questioned Beckett's stuff in relation to his turning 30. Beckett was quoted as pretty much discounting the whole premise, stating that 30 is not old and his stuff is still as sharp as ever.

He's going to have to show more than this BS if he wants to sell that story.
