Yeah and I was just thinking the same thing. Probably just this game though due to lack of traffic for this game. Only Sox fans watching, usually you have fans for 2 teams watching the game.

Ah that explains why you were so late. By the time you found out Ellsbury struck out Crawford already grounded out. Holy s*** that is a huge delay. I apologized in the last post but I'm guessing you didn't catch the edit.

Beckett has thrown 3 pitches this AB that a non-AAAA player would have done something with. Lots of balls up in the zone

Not ever player is in peak season mode either. If he is placing these pitches in May though the ERA will find the upper 5's

Last season was a down year for game threads. This was pretty normal pre-2010. Glad to see excitement for the team, and subsequently more action here.
