I actually think this series has been kind of hilarious to be honest. Then again I have much more important games to be worried about right now than the first 3 games of the Red Sox season. In addition, we all knew that the Rangers lineup can make it rain, that the Texas ballpark is among the most HR prone, that Lackey isn't that good, that Lester is horrible to begin the season, and that the Rangers could very well be a playoff caliber team.

Go figure that I'm one of the only people who isn't worried or upset right now.

It's understandable to be upset. No one likes getting sweeped to start the season. What I don't understand is why people are worried.

I'm trying so hard to be optimistic right now. Hopefully we can win a few in Cleveland and get back on track. This was just a poor place to have to try and start the year. We're better than them and better than this.

Looking ahead tomorrow's matchup is Tomlin vs. Becket

then the next day is Talbot vs. whoever the 5th starter is for the sox

next day Carmona vs. Lester

and if it is a 4 day series Carrasco vs. Lackey

It's understandable to be upset. No one likes getting sweeped to start the season. What I don't understand is why people are worried.

I'm not even upset, I honestly don't care. I also think it's kind of funny, but I'm also a glutton for punishment and I generally find dark things humourous. And I enjoy having things to complain about. This has been an injury away from being one of those Murphy's law series.

I am worried due to the fact that our starters look poorly conditioned due to a spring training where they rarely pitched more than 5 innings mostly less because they were getting rocked, and that this team is going to hit left handers like this all season.

we scored two earned runs on him but yeah I know just was looking forward to this season so much and realizing that due to how far back we fell last april cost us the playoffs last year even with injuries we could have still made it.

nice outing for clay but he was screwed without support and will get an l just like lackey who seems to lack the ability to get the third out in big innings consistently.

Then again, I'd also rather lose by 30 than to lose by 1, that way I can stop watching much earlier and just say "f*** it" instead of thinking that we can win and end up losing at the end. They both look the same in the W/L and Standings anyway.
