Lester had nothing today. His velocity was down. His command was off. No strikeouts for a strikeout pitcher. Bard blew up really bad. I never would have predicted that Wakefield would relieve Bard on opening day. Crawford looked like hell against lefties. On the bright side, there are no platoon concerns with AGon and Ortiz already has half of his 2010 HR production against lefthand pitching.

They may be putting too much pressure on Crawford batting 3rd--especially against lefthanders.

It's looking like 3rd belongs to AdGon. He's their best hitter.

In my defense (in case you were referring to anything I said) I made a few "jumping off the ledge" comments about today's game but they were all in italics, which is typically the universal sign for sarcasm.
