Time for the Brian Gordon experiment to end. He has nice offspeed offerings and good enough location to keep AAA hitters off balance, but essentially a rookie with an 88mph fastball isnt gonna get it done on a regular basis. We need to bring up Adam Warren, who is just mowing em down in AAA

3-3 now. Jesus all this team does is hit home runs.

They play in a joke of a ballpark. It's a joke. There RF is an easier shot that Philly and that place is a joke.

My old HS field has a deeper RF than Yankee Stadium...

I knew that it was short on TV, but until I saw it in person, I didn't realize that the short porch extends to right center field.

Sabathia is taking his talents to the City of Brotherly Love.

/discussion.

Speaking of The Decision, I think every FA should have an announcement like that.

Darnell McDonald: "This spring I'll be taking my mediocrity to Kansas City."

JD Drew: "This spring I'll be taking my glass ballerina body to Japan."

I like this idea. Only lets not have a one hour show for these guys.

Nicasio loses the no-hitter and shutout in the 5th. Swisher 2R HR, 3-2 Rox.

EDIT: Posada goes back to back. 3-3. Nicasio was dominant for 4, and then completely lost it.

I think he was pretty bad through the first four innings, just incredibly lucky. He was behind almost every hitter, got into numerous three ball counts, and the Yankees hit a bunch of balls hard right out people. But that's baseball, and it was bound to catch up with him at some point.

Ahh' date=' okay. I wasn't paying close attention, I just saw he hadn't allowed any hits.[/quote']

Yeah, it's rare, but you can luck your way into 12 straight outs.

This was a very good win for the Yankees ... nice comeback from down 3-0, and then another response after Colorado regained the lead.

And it's worth noting how good Robertson has been. Another 1-2-3 today with 2 Ks, starting with Tulo.

He has only given up 4 earned runs in 31.1 innings, which is good for a 1.15 ERA. That's awesome, and even though I don't expect it, I hope he keeps his place on the top of the depth chart (aside from Mo) when Soriano returns.

Though' date=' I'd be stunned if CC didn't return to the Yankees.[/quote']

CC loves NY, unlike Lee, and wants to stay. In the end, it's a business decision. I think CC either opts out or has a few yrs tacked on to the end of his deal

The offense just f***ing pounded Greinke. And Garcia is proving that against everyone not from Boston, he seems to have about a 6 inning smoke and mirrors act that gets him a QS. 10QS in 14 starts.
