Haha that sounds good to me. I just want to know where my team falls, because I can really see it fitting in towards the top or towards the bottom, depending on how people view it.

I'll explain a lot of the scoring and I'll show the point totals so everyone can see how close a lot of the spots are. I'll also throw in some other data.

I will freely say that I had your team towards the top, but I could understand that the lack of firepower and big names in your lineup would turn some people away from having your team at the top. It really all comes down to perspective, especially when it is extremely difficult to predict how these players will do next year, heck fantasy analysts get it wrong 90% of the time.

I'm interested to know how this works after the season, because with a season worth of statistics it will most likely be easier to differentiate the teams from one another and decide upon a winner.

Yeah, it all depends on what you value. Based on how you constructed your team, I'm not surprised that you liked my team (and for the same reasons, I liked yours as well).

All will be made clear in due time. If Exman and Flynnatic made their picks earlier than I'd have released the results as soon as the final vote came. If the picks aren't in my inbox tomorrow morning, then I will post the tie and the results from there once we've decided the tiebreaker. Don't worry about it.

After reading this I'm really interested in seeing the rankings.

Really? Wow I need to see the results

What the hell?

I thought that the majority of teams would be voting WB 1st, his team is stacked

That's what I thought too.

I just got Flynnatic's rankings, and he broke one tie, but then set up another tie. Exman should break that tie, but he'd probably set up another one (showing how close a lot of the spots really are). Once Exman sends me his list, I'll run the numbers and see if there are any ties and see what to do from there.

I have the rankings in, but I'm having a really tough time breaking a tie. Dipre and I discussed tie breaking methods, but both methods decide it (in different directions) by 1 point. I think we should put both teams as the same rank for now.

It was tough for me, because I didn't know how to rank teams relative to one another in cases where teams had different strengths and weaknesses --for instance one team had a stronger bullpen but an inferior offense.

My apologies for taking a while after Exman sent me his rankings. Someone (who will remain nameless) had a few people listed as the same ranking, and that threw off the entire ballot, so I had to manually fix every entry, which meant that there no longer was a tie. I knew something was up when the total number of points didn't add up.

A few things.

1. These power rankings are virtually meaningless. They are parameters to see roughly what other people think of your team, but the only power rankings that are important are the ones at the end of the season, because they will determine the matchups for the tournament. Just because a team is ranked where it is now, is not much of an indication of future success, or future rankings once the rankings mean something. Every team can finish first in the end, it's up to the players you drafted, so each team will have the opportunity to kick some a**. So I wouldn't worry about it.

2. There are a lot of different strategies for drafting and ranking teams. There were 8 different teams with 1st place votes, and 10/15 teams had a ranking in the top 2. Similarly, EVERY SINGLE TEAM had at least one bottom 5 vote. Eventually guidelines will be made for ranking and voting (ie things to take into account)

3. Despite there occasionally being a rogue vote or two, the rankings were close to where I had teams, and in my opinion averaged out to be fair results. You should compare this ranking to your individual vote and see where your vote lies with respect to the group.

4. When it comes to the final rankings and voting, as is with the other redrafts, every team will have the opportunity to explain why they have a good team, and will have a writeup explaining their thought process behind their draft as well as their planned strategy (ie platoon JD Drew, move Howard to 1B against RHP, sit Howard for a better defensive option late in games etc) which people can determine based on the performances for this season.

5. Yankees Suck. Roll Tide.

That is all.
