2018 and 2022 World Cup Bids

I'm not sure if you guys are aware (or probably don't care) but they announced which countries will be holding the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, and we both got shafted. England lost the bid to host the 2018 World Cup to Russia, and the US lost the bid to host the 2022 World Cup to....(drumroll)

Yes, I bet that a lot of Americans are learning that there is indeed a country called Qatar, and it beat the US to host the 2022 World Cup.

Not even close, I think they are around 113th. Then again, South Africa was the 2nd worst team in the 2010 World Cup (83rd) and it still got to host it.

I don't know about Russia, but giving it to Qatar is a big mistake, it's far too small to host such an event.
