Anyway, that was some comeback. I don't necessarily think that taking out Wilson was a bad move, because he wasn't throwing the ball as well in the seventh and eighth as he was prior to that. I actually think you could make a case that he should have pulled him a batter earlier, before the Jeter double. But I think he has to go to Feliz at some point in the eighth inning, while the Rangers still had the lead.

 

There are a couple concerns from tonight. CC looked horrendous (never seen him with that little fastball control), and this is coming off a very mediocre start in the first round and a few poor starts in September. And I know he got the job done tonight, but Kerry Wood really can't be trusted with a slim lead late in the game. He just doesn't have enough control, and it's going to cost them eventually.
