Yeah, that's the nice thing about the first pick, it isn't a very difficult decision. I'm interested to see how people pick with the new 3 yrs in the future rule. I've done about 3 of these in the past, but always for the present.

I might be overanalysing this' date=' but I wouldn't have gone with LeBron for the first pick.[/quote']

You can PM me who it was if you like since you have a late pick

But LeBron is IMO a no doubt first pick...he's 25 and the prime or a career is usually 28/29, so why wouldn't you take him at #1?

Maybe we should PM users when it's their pick (or even when they're on deck)?

Oh and this really should be moved out of contests/prizes. I don't care where else, but it's real easy to miss down here since no one's accustomed to checking this subforum.

Also' date=' the first post is way too long with each individual pick listed. That's gotta go.[/quote']

That's what we had in the baseball draft, it was much easier to track how far the picks were updated.

Went with Pau Gasol - he's probably the best offensive center in the game and his game has improved greatly over the last few years, showing the toughness many thought he lacked heading to LA.

Picked Tyreke Evans. Won a well deserved ROY last year, considered by some to be at least the next Dwyane Wade, at the very least he's a future all star. I feel good with him as my franchise player.

I'm not sure Evans was the best pick for your spot, but you definitely get great value there, especially going forward.

This time went with Al Jefferson. Excellent low post scorer and rebounder, him and Tyreke would be a pretty damn good combination. Some injury troubles and not great defensively, but the latter can easily be picked up in 3 years' time, and there's no sense trying to predict the former.
