I wouldn't be opposed to putting Youk in LF since Beltre plays great defense at 3B. I kind of feel like silence from the Red Sox is good news for now. I'm starting to feel a bit more optimistic but not very cautious.

me too, but I think it is because my body ran out of "mad" hormones and now my system is flooding with opioid-like chemicals to help me recover.

Usually Henry would have thrown Gonzalez and his agent under the bus by now. Maybe they're saving that for tonight.

I don't care if they don't get another FA. They need to get Gonzalez. End of story. That plus a bunch of home-grown talent' date=' starting a combination of Kalish/Reddick in the OF would be fine with me. None of them is an unacceptable answer.[/quote']

They blew it dude. Move on they litterally took the paying fans and bent them over. Luckily by the time they tried to get me I sold lol f*** em

They are all sitting at the table trying to figure out how to spin this and make AGON look like the bad guy to us fans and the PR.

Its what they do best.

A home grown team will suffer in 2011' date=' and the market will crash.[/quote']

A home grown team basically kept this team in it until the last week of the season..

The Werth deal has also just increased AGON's value by quite a bit.

They are screwed, this is not going to get done.

Agon maybe taking the headlines, but if this wasn't going on the biggest story in baseball would be how Boras was able to get Werth double the contract of Bay. If I'm Bay, I'm firing my agent now

Henry wants a small market payroll with a big market following. If the sox strike out on the FAs and Beltre goes elsewhere, the lineup looks like:

1. Ellsbury CF

2. Pedroia 2B

3. Youkilis 1B

4. Ortiz DH

5. Drew RF

6. Cameron LF

7. Lowrie 3B

8. Scutaro SS

9. Saltalamacchia C

That's pretty weak compared to 2010

That's probably at least league average and probably better then SF lineup that just won them a WS..

A good Thing about the Gonzo Deal is that Neither team has made a statement about the trade. Maybe they will talk again about the deal at the winter meetings.

I hope they lower ticket prices to what SF charges then.

Otherwise, not good enough.

Good luck with revenue, ratings and attendance with that dogshit.

Don't have a problem with Kalish playing left this season. The problem comes in 2012. There is absolutely nothing free agent wise. We will be losing Drew and Cameron. We need to go after Crawford in a big way. It really sounds like the Gonzalez deal is over. His flight leaves pretty soon.

F the God damn whining about the ticket prices. They still have 130m+ invested in this team. You want cheaper tickets? Star petitioning to get Fenway knocked to the ground.to the ground and build a new one with more seats. Or just don't pay to go to the game. It is really that simple..

You made a comparison to SF.

So did I.

SF bullpen Dwofs Theos pen mess. Atchinson big things!

It's December 5th tool, chill out. Or does not signing Agon to an extension prevent all baseball related moves now and the future?

Supply and demand, no reason to lower the prices. People will still show up. Their revenue will be fine as always.

SF fans can walk up on gameday and buy tix. Games are sold out months in advance here. It's not a fair comparison.

Ya, I made a comparison of " probable on field production". You brought up ""ticket prices"...

Dude, you need to STFU.

You have to put your time in here to bitch the way you do.

Ive been here a long time and even my bitching is more than annoying sometimes (yeah i know).

I would add him to the ignore list, but the fact that people quote him still makes him show up in the thread.

It does when the majority of the offensive free agents ALSO got signed today. Besides Crawford and possibly Ordonez (who is going to get swiped by the tigers fast) who do you really see making a difference still available?

Upton via trade.
