First five picks went exactly as expected for me. Here's where it gets interesting, as ive thought all along that #6 would be the first non-QB taken

You expected Rivers to be the first pick?

I'm not saying that Rivers was a bad pick, and I'm certainly not arguing that he's a bad player. I'm just saying that I was not expecting him to go first overall, and I wouldn't have expected him to be picked at this point either.

With that said, I thought about giving into the homer temptations (especially if you picked who I assumed you were going to pick), but I didn't deem it a wise strategy, especially for me.

I tried to be vague enough whereby I wouldn't reveal names of players who weren't drafted yet.

No, but I did expect the first five picks to be a combo of Rivers, Manning, Brady, Brees, and Rodgers.

I originally expected the first 5 picks to be RB (with one of them potentially being a QB, since Brady would go quickly on this forum), but when RSFFL took Rivers, I felt that I needed to take one of the QB's.

Rivers should have been the 4th QB taken imo.

I agree, he's not better then Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees. Even Aaron Rodgers will probably put up better stats.

I agree as well, but I wanted to save that for a different discussion.

Is there a limit? I don't mind as long as everyone speeds up with these damn draft picks.

@Whiskey:You're right. I know he idn't the best player to draft first but hey it is what is it.

My point was that with 15 teams, it'd be an odd number, which would present difficulties when it comes to the voting. (someone would have to have a bye)

And to your other point, I agree, as the baseball redraft probably would have been in the 2nd round by now. Granted, we had an 8 hour limit I think, but considering that the draft started yesterday, (and only 5 players have been chosen) you'd think that people would be online and have their picks ready.

Your right I guess. Just didn't want anyone to feel left out. He wanted to join a bit late so looks like he'll have to sit this one out.

I'll be available, although I do like to sleep in. I'll probably be online around 11, but you can't make your pick until 10:44 at the earliest, so it won't be a huge deal if I made your pick around that time.

I think the best option if we have 15 teams is just let the #1 seed get a bye and do a 1 vs bye, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14, and so on

Another option is cut the 3 worst teams, give the top 4 teams byes (do 5 v12, 6 v11, 7 v10, 8v9) to get it down to 8 teams, but I think the top version is the most efficient
