I didn't see the play , really.

Why does Theo have a hard-on for Salty? Because we have no power hitters in the system other than Rizzo?

He put his barehand in the glove' date=' but I don't think he grasped it. It is pretty difficult to knock a ball lose from a catcher when he has it in his barehand. It was a very sucky play.[/quote']

He avoided the collision and lost the ball due to the ol?.

Tht warning was unwarranted.

i bet the umps get annoyed with lackey because he takes long pauses after every pitch within half a foot of the strike zone that's not called a strike. i know it's annoying to me

I agree' date=' and Kalish has not earned the 4th spot, so there is no room for Nava.[/quote']

Kalish has a high ceiling, but needs more fine tuning. Trot and dustin both took lumps coming in but were allowed to play through it. I think Kalish needs one more year to really be ready.

i'm not so sure that mcdonald would want to come back as a backup. i think he may have earned a starting job with his performance this year

Where would he go? I highly doubt any team would bring him in as their starting cf.

Who knows? You could be right.

there aren't many quality options for center fielders. david dejesus, coco crisp and darnell mcdonald may be the best options out there

There's no question that Kalish has the defensive skills to be a very good defensive out fielder. It all comes down to plate skills. Is he ready? Was Pedroia ready?

Let's watch him for the rest of the season. That would seem to be a better time to voice an opinion. If he gets enough PA.

Coco Crap is so much better than Darnell and it's hard for me to admit that.

perhaps he needs a little more time in aaa but if he isn't ready to be in the majors yet, he's awfully close. i just think it's going to take a bit of an adjustment period

Nice Hall. Now we better get some runs.

Yep. 2 hits in the day game and 2 so far tonight.

Don't leave 'em stranded.

Come on Marco!

i agree, he is a better player than mcdonald but mcdonald's still one of the best 3 free agent options out there for his position and he'll come at a discount compared to many of the other options out there
