Who Are You Rooting For in the Playoffs?

Assuming the Red Sox don't make it, who would you like to see win the World Series?

I'd say the Phillies or Braves. While I consider the Phillies my NL team (and I want Halladay to get a ring), their fans annoy the f*** out of me, and I don't think that their fans deserve another WS. In addition, I want Bobby Cox to retire with a ring. I'd say the same for Chipper Jones if he wasn't injured.

Either the Braves or Reds.

 

There are exciting things about every team though, especially in the NL where these versions of the Braves, Reds and Padres (assuming they all make it) are all new to the playoffs. I am very curious to see what Chapman does in the playoffs; I can see him in a 2002 K-Rod role.

 

Right now, I say the ALCS is Yankees-Rays, and the NLCS is Phillies-Braves. Yeah, the East.

I'd like to see a world series with the Reds and Twins. That would be good for baseball.

I'm "old timey". I've always liked the Twins and The Reds have sucked for so long and are so close to getting there. And I'm always going to be a Arroyo fan.

 

I wouldn't mind a Padre's / Rangers series either. My only problem here would be late start games. I need my beauty sleep.

 

If The Rays or YANKEES make it to the World Series, I'll be rooting for them. Only because that would serve to at least partially validate how good the Sox are.

i think i'll root for the twins as well. i like fundamentally sound baseball teams and the north country
