Now that it's September, let's take a look at who we think should win the various individual awards: MVP, Cy Young, ROY. I know, they're meaningless, but they're still fun to look at.

My picks:

AL MVP

1. Miguel Cabrera

2. Josh Hamilton

3. Robinson Cano

Honorables: Jose Bautista, Paul Konerko, Evan Longoria

NL MVP

1. Joey Votto

2. Albert Pujols

3. Adrian Gonzalez

Honorables: Carlos Gonzalez, Ryan Zimmerman

AL Cy:

1. Felix Hernandez

2. Trevor Cahill

3. Clay Buchholz

Honorables: David Price, CC Sabathia, Jered Weaver, CJ Wilson

NL Cy:

1. Roy Halladay

2. Adam Wainwright

3. Tim Hudson

Honorables: Ubaldo Jimenez, Josh Johnson, Mat Latos

AL Rookie:

1. Austin Jackson

2. Daniel Bard

3. Neftali Feliz

Honorables: Wade Davis, John Jaso

NL Rookie:

1. Jason Heyward

2. Jaime Garcia

3. Buster Posey

Honorables: Starlin Castro, Gaby Sanchez, Neil Walker

MVP

AL- Hamilton- his team is in the playoffs, he has a comparable OPS and similar power numbers, but has a higher BA and plays much better D in CF and RF

NL- Joey Votto- He and Pujols will be 1-2, and while Pujols still might end up with mildly better numbers, Votto's team will be in the playoffs, and he has been ridiculously clutch down the stretch, which voters love

Cy Young

AL- CC Sabathia- King Felix has the ERA, WHIP and K's on CC, but what he doesnt have is the W/L record and the fact that CC has been the biggest reason for his team's best MLB record. 23 quality starts in the AL East is a feat, although Felix has him beat there as well at 26. Felix deserves it, but I think CC wins it

NL- Roy Halladay- Halladay has similar numbers to Wainwright, better numbers than Ubaldo and is playing on a playoff team that really had no other pitchers anchoring the rotation until Oswalt came on board.

ROY-

AL- Austin Jackson- leadoff man, .300 hitter, plays GG caliber CF, he should win. I dont think Bard is eligible due to his IP last season out of the pen. Other than that, AJax deserves it in a pretty weak AL Rookie class

NL- Buster Posey- I think this is gonna be closer than most think. Heyward has had a hell of a yr, but Posey has put up almost the exact same numbers at a more demanding position. I think Posey might take it in a photo finish

Buch beats out Cahill, IMO; I don't think that Cahill will even reach the top 3. Beltre could be in the discussion for MVP, but I think that's all he'll get (i.e. he won't be in the top 3). Also, Neftali Feliz is a closer, which might put his value higher than Bard's.

NL MVP: Joey Votto

AL Cy Young: Felix Hernandez (Won't win but deserves it)

NL Cy Young: Roy Halladay (Wainwright is right there)

AL Rookie: Neftali Feliz (youngest player ever to record 30 saves, could get 40 saves when it's all said and done)

NL Rookie: Jaime Garcia (173 ERA+)
