Does anyone get a little depressed watching games broadcast from the Trop? It looks so drab and boring with the artificial light. They need an outdoor park

I've gotten used to it over the years. I much rather have them play at Fenway though.

I heard so many negative things about the place, but when I went to a game there, it really wasn't that bad.

i think that they think that Football is now the top sport in the world. MLB is and always be the best.

I'm afraid it is. Last night at my regular sports bar, they showed the Redskins preseason game on the big screen over the Sox. Unreal.

Last year during the WS they were showing VA Tech football games over the WS games. It may have been different if the Red Sox were in the WS but I'm not sure. Hate it.

Makes sense considering where you live.

It was for a good cause. No one likes to watch the Yankees win:D

My brother went to a couple of games while down there on business. He swears he would never go back, even if the Red Sox were playing. When he went it was miserable.

My boyfriend and I are going to "Fenway South" Thursday to see the Red Sox v. O's. Camden is nice.

The place is certainly lacking in the usual aesthetics.

But I'd like to go there at least once.

I hate indoor baseball. I like grass and sun and "fresh" air.

I don't see how they could play out doors down there. It just too hot during the summer and it rains so much.

Of course, The Marlins play out doors so what the f*** do I know?

Warning track power.

Deepest part of the park (410), and opposite field for a LHH. To hit it out there for a LHH, that's an impressive poke. In all his games there, Ortiz has zero HR to that spot.

Nice! I really want to go there when I get myself back on my feet.

My Brother In Law is taking me to see the Sox / Rays 09/07 at Fenway.

I'm happy.:D

I can't tell you how many times it rains down here and ruins the game.

Sweet! I need to check on who should be pitching on 9/2. I know things can change but who would be pitching for the 9/7 game?

Pena's at bats are as long as Nomar's were. Speed it up man!

I think 9/2 will be Clay unless Dice-K gets thrown back in the mix.

NICE catch JD.

Tied now dammit!

Part of their problem early was the pitchers weren't doing enough to control the running game. Throwing over regularly, especially against a team that always has the green light on, for everybody, is how you do that. Did you guys prefer it when they stole like 10 bags in one game?
