Throughout his career, Masterson has been notoriously better against righties. Drew and Ortiz have been quiet lately, Reddick still isn't quite ready for the majors, and Hermida is still sore. I think it might end up being a tight game, with Buchholz getting a slight edge.

Tito just said on WEEI that Drew, Reddick, and Hermida will start. As long as Hermida still feels fine when he gets to the park.

Tito said he wants as many left handed bats in the line-up as possible against Masterson.

May the Dipre mojo continue to roll!

Martinez hits better from the right side than the left, and Masterson struggles against lefties. Therefore Ortiz is the better matchup against Masterson. Only semi-logical explanation i can find.

Dipre, I missed out on yesterday's game, but I am reading the posts now. You have me rolling with your banter with suns. BTW, I think you have excellent English. Much better as a second language than a lot of others as their first language

My ability to tolerate Buchholz falling behind Price in wins leaves much to be desired.

My ability to tolerate Bucholz' wildness and Drew's weak throw to HP both leave much to be desired.

I'm fairly sure he was having trouble dealing with the nasty glare on the field, but one run out of that mess wasn't too bad. Hopefully he can get some run support to help him out a bit.

Beltre is long overdue for a HR

Palodios was long overdue for starting a "repeat what others say" mojo.

Dipre was long overdue for editing this gamethread by adding "repeat what others say" mojo.

Dipre was long overdue for telling Palodios that he has edited the first post of the Gamethread to include "repeat what others say" mojo.

Dipre was long overdue about telling Jacko that he's a clueless goofball, because this is all part of Palodios' and Dipre's customary GT mojo. Gom also says Jacko's penis is small. No idea how the f*** he knows about that.

Tito is long overdue to tell Josh Reddick that he's better off to let the ball hit the ground and it be a double, then fail on a bad catch and let it turn into a triple. This is the second time this series.

The Red Sox are long overdue to start hitting Masterson.
