It wasn't my point. My point is that Theo overpaid for both guys. One was a bust. The other was not. Boras owns Theo.

Was Renteria represented by Boras?

And by the way, Scott Boras is not the agent for either Julio Lugo or Edgar Renteria, it's Sam Levinson and Barry Meister respectively.

The oh snap was the only thing about the argument , the "This just turned to s*** quick" was about the 2 home runs that were just hit at the time.

Drew still has a vagina, and it is where he keeps the extra money from being overpaid.

All has returned to normalcy now.

And to be fair to Boras, he's not the one who forced the Sox to bid $51 million for Dice's rights when the next best offer was in the 30s. (But he did get a sweetheart contract out of them.)

Julio Lugo and Daisuke Matsuzaka: Two contracts you can bitch about.

JD Drew, Adrian Beltre, basically rest of the team: Things you shouldn't bitch about.

Dipre' date=' you cannot add Theo to your custom user title. Example has purched the rights to be called "Defender of Theo." Sorry.[/quote']

Wait.

The Beltre contract came with the free throw in of a logjam.

You deal with Example. I warned you.

Example ain't around much anymore. I now hold that title. Get used to it.

It's easier to defend a player than a GM. GM's can't go 3 for 4 and make diving catches.

That is true. Specially with the millions (and millions) armchair GMs spread out through the globe.

How many more opportunities does Wakefield get?

Beckett won't throw for another ten days, and until Beckett doesn't get back, we have a lot lot of Wakefield.

The run that scored on Beltre's error was the difference today.

Does UZR have a component which measures games lost by fielders?

What's the alternative?

This is not meant to be snotty. I know it probably sounds snotty as you read it, but I'm really asking for information. Beckett's out for a while, apparently.

Other than that caveat, my answer to your question is, "Very few. Like roughly zero."

Even though two more runs scored on Homers off Delcarmen?

Does logic have an extreme dislike for you? Because it avoids you like the plague.

Plus the two guys thrown out at the plate, and the 4 homers we gave up, and... but if Beltre's error led to the winning run, I guess the 4 HRs didn't matter.
