Yeah, I was shocked when I was able to start today's GT. My first one of the season. Let's hope I'll be starting them for the next couple of weeks!

UPDATE, 11:53 a.m.: Jeremy Hermida (left quad) just ran in the outfield and looked good. He said he could pinch hit today. He hopes to be back in the lineup in a few days.

 

Mike Cameron took BP on the field yesterday and took a few fly balls. He seems to be progressing more quickly than Jacoby Ellsbury. Cameron is optimistic about getting back soon but says he will need a rehab game or two.

 

Cameron has a sports hernia and Ellsbury four cracked ribs. Both will have an easy day today.

Kid than you're not a Sox fan or a baseball fan, you're just a fan of winning and while there's nothing morally wrong with that... you really need to get the definition correct. You're a true fan of winning - nothing more.

 

This is why I hope the Sox do have a couple of losing years, then the fair weather (since 2004) crowd will go back to their original hobbies.

NESN's new little scoreboard thing is a pain. I don't get why they just didn't leave it as that one bar across the whole top, it was easier to read.
