I can't believe the people blaming Dice-k TOTALLY SUCKING on Francona. Dice-K just plain sucks. He sucked last year and he's going to suck again all this year.

Sell him back to NBL.

He hasn't pitched in months. Hitters have had a month of warming up-- he has not. He had 4 innings of 0 ER but got worn out once he passed the number of pitches he's been at lately. What do you want, a guy that hasn't pitched a full game in months to throw 130 pitches for 7 innings and 0 earned runs?

I want nothing from him.

So I'm satisfied.

That's what happens when you are stuck with Gameday, you don't get the visual of the park.

When I saw Dice K throw in the last week of ST, he had nothing. He wasn't throwing hard at all. He pitched against the scrubs one game -- not even top prospects-- and they were getting really good hacks at him. They didn't score on him, but he was shockingly unimpressive, especially after reading about his top physical condition and shoulder strengthening program.

Three HRs!! Against the O's! Really, it's time to cut ties with Wakefield. Singles and walks are automatically doubles, because he delivers the ball so slowly and now he is giving up bombs. He needs to go.

Average FB speed was 91.79 tonight, maxing at 94.

That wasn't the guy you saw in March.

Before the 5th, he was cruising. He made the pitches, so he's responsible for the 5th, but it could have been managed better. Although, Wake sucked balls too, so I'm not sure the result would have been much different.
