still waiting for the "It's april" crew to show up.

Wait, but haven't they won two series in a row?

How can you stand the pain of the knee-jerking?

This team has yet to win a single game "decidedly". I'm starting to get nervous. Also, Tito is continue to look like a moron with in game management and it's getting me even more nervous.

2/3 of the starting OF is injured, and the SP, which is not supposed to suck, is sucking. IF come the middle of May the SP corps is not getting the job done, then it's time to go into panic mode, but that's just my opinion.

OMG, his post-game press conference pissed me off even MORE. HOLY CRAP YOU PIECE OF s***.

So the reporters obviously ask him why he decided to go to Atchison and Schoensuck rather than starting the inning with Delcarmin and he COMPLETELY avoids the question. "Well, we had Atichson ready and Schoensuck right behind him so it was a matter of who was ready to go. I thought Schoensuck could throw strikes and we didn't anticipate the inning would turn out as it did." YOU MOTHER f***ER. OWN UP TO YOUR DECISION. We KNOW Atchison and Schoensuck warmed before MDC... IT WAS YOUR DECISION TO GO TO THEM FIRST. Don't just say "Oh they were ready." f***ing own it.

Also, shame on the reports for not having integrity and calling him out on it. When will journalists grow some balls again and look for the truth. If I was in that room I would have called him out immediately "You didn't answer our question. YOU are the one who called the pen to start warming Atchison and Schoenwise before MDC. We want to know WHY you made that decision. Please don't beat around the bush again."

I see. So what Francona should have done is admit that Atchison and Schoenweis suck and that he made a mistake putting them in. That won't damage his relationship with those players and possibly some others on the team too, or anything like that, right (being a player's manager is the only thing Francona has going for him).

I have a VERY low tolerance of ********.

So do I.

Which is why I LOVE reading game threads after a loss and watching everyone s*** themselves over a single game against an insignificant team.

And those won games in those series were won by 1 run. Especially with the Orioles that s*** is unacceptable.

The only other series win was against the f***ing Royals.

It's the end of the month. 6 series in, we've won 3 of them. It very easily could of been only 1 series. Very easily.

But it wasn't. A win is a win. As i said before, there are obvious issues with this team (as with every team) but there's a very significant chance that the SP rights the ship in the following days, and once it does, then the team as a whole will be much more effective. Something needs to be done about both the bullpen and Tito's bullpen management though.

Yeah he should of. He should of straight up admitted that it was a wrong decision. The hell with relationships and all that ********. This is a team of grown men in a business. If you f*** up you should get s*** for it. Enough of this pussy "let's not hurt a players feelings by benching them or cutting them" stuff.

No, I don't expect him to come out and say they suck, I expect him to actually explain WHY he went with them before MDC, he just dodged the question. I want him to own up to his mistakes.

As for "winning a game decidedly", I mean we haven't had an easy win. Every win we've had was as messy as it gets. I know its early, I know we have injuries, this is just frustrating to watch and I'm worried we might not be good enough to overcome both the Yankees and Rays (who face it, have owned use the last year+).

Also, I just HATE losing, and today SUCKED. The Celtics blew a game and the Sox are in a funk and funks are not fun to watch through. Yes, I'm frustrated and can't stand seeing the Sox piss away game after game. Yes, I'm being just a bit reactionary, but damn it, this sucks.

O ya. So just because they're grown doesn't mean they should ever bat an eye if their manager, someone who's supposed to have their back, throws them under the bus? You are a very misinformed soul if you actually believe this.

I don't hang any of this on Francona. They gave him two complete total pieces of s*** in his pen. Schoendouche is a Met castoff. Nufsed. Atchinson is a complete nobody that could not make it in the US, so he had to go to Japan. He has 3 reliable arms in the pen, and he can't use them every night. They need to get him some better horses in the pen.

Can't really argue with that, unless you want the other relievers' arms falling off before the end of May.

I can't believe people are upset that we didn't beat the other team by enough runs considering:

1. It's April.

2. Youkilis, Martinez and Drew aren't hitting yet.

3. Buchholz is the only member of our rotation without an ERA under 5.

4. It's April.

Bolded reasons are of particular truth.

What is this with "it's April" excuse? They have a whole month of ST to get in game shape. It's 1/6th of the season, 30 some games. Isn't that important when seasons can come down to 1 or 2 games? I just don't understand giving these professional athletes a free pass for a whole month.

Having ST games has nothing to do with it. You don't give them "A pass", but there's a number of factors that influence a team's play during the early stages of a season, such as incorporating new members, players who usually start slow because of the weather or related factors etc etc etc. Funny thing is, some Yankee fans were acting early last year just like some members of this board are now, and writing posts just like yours and look how that ended up.

When this team sucks in the middle of May are you gonna say oh its May, there is still plenty of time left. The games they are f***ing away right now count as much as they do in September

Please take the time to read other people's opinions before putting words in their mouths. Besides, i haven't said April games count less than other games, but they don't count more.

Yeah that Beltre guy sure sucks.....HE DARED MAKE AN ERROR!

Miguel Tejada hates him though.

Haha, the first two ground balls of the day he booted. Both easy enough that you could have probably fielded them. He's on his way to being the worst fielding third baseman we've had since Butch Hobson.

Just because it's April doesn't mean that they are not digging themselves a very bad hole. The two teams in front of them are very strong and not prone to long slumps. The Sox have not shown any ability to regularly beat either of them. They can't play .500 against them and hope to climb over them. That's the brutal truth. Is it too early to be concerned. No, not at all. They can slip into a very deep hole with one more bad week.

Lol. That's all i can say. Be careful about early knee issues.

Wait until they play the week, then panic.

Oh, and let me know the next ball he actually catches without snow coning it.

They have shown nothing to make us think that. They have something to prove, and the window of opportunity for proving it is not a big one, because both of the best teams are in their Division. Time would be a lot less critical if Tampa or the Yanks were in another division.

Miguel Tejada hates him though.

He's making too many errors and other misplays not scored as errors. He has mad a few mental errors too. I'd rather have the guy with less range at 3B but with better hands and a much better baseball head.
