I'm happy to announce a new contest we're going to be running in partnership with http://blshirts.com/.

 

There will be 3 winners and each winner will have his or her choice of a T shirt from blshirts. Red Sox related ones include:

Needless to say, these shirts are awesome. Particularly #1, unless Dunkin Donuts sues you I guess. In any case, you might be asking yourself "how do I win?"

 

There are 2 ways:

 

1) Guess the total combined runs scored for the upcoming BOS vs TEX series. As a tiebreak, guess the total RED SOX runs scored as well. So you will be sending me 2 numbers: total runs scored and total Red Sox runs scored. The 2 closest guessers each get a shirt. In the event of a tie, whoever guesses closest to the Red Sox runs scored total without exceeding it will win (Price is Right rules).

 

2) A random post made between now and the last out of the TEX series will be chosen and the poster will win the shirt. I'll use a random number generator and do it fair. This announcement is post 536485.

 

 

Some rules:

1) Anyone with 20+ posts by the close of the contest is eligible. Moderators are eligible.

2) To be fair for shipping I think this can only be open to people in the US

3) You can only win one shirt - I'll draw another number if method #2 duplicates a winner

 

 

If you'd like to participate, please PM me your guesses. I'll keep a running tally here of how many entries we've received, and then post the guesses right around the time of the first pitch in the TEX series on Tuesday. That game starts at 7:10 so get your guesses to me before then, slackers.

Most people have guessed that.

 

Not me. Was expecting them to break out some this weekend. If not, I will not EVEN BE CLOSE to winning the t-shirt. <_>

I'm not sure if I would if I were you. I mean you're probably one of few that had the Sox scoring more runs, so if that is the case, then there's a higher likelihood that you'd win. Since there'd be a lot of people who said that the Rangers will score more runs, it's harder for each person to win if that is the case.
