I've never bothered to learn players numbers in any sport, can't imagine I'd do well in this.

Edit: Just got through the first 10 only getting 1 right... on a guess. I'm not even going to bother with the rest.

17/20. I guessed quite a bit though and just got lucky.

 Nice guessing! I hate guessing on these types of quizzes, either you know it or you don't, guessing shouldn't count (unless it's a good educated guess).

Yeah, I got lucky on a lot of the questions, but they were somewhat educated. Like for example, on the Ramon Ramirez question that asks which numbers are Ramon Ramirez and Ramon A Ramirez, I knew what number Ramon Ramirez was so I just guessed one of the answers that had 56 in it and it was right.

wow. bombed that thing. Only 5/20 right. I guess that's about right, though, for not owning a tv for the past 7 years and listening to everything on the radio instead.

Are people really getting 17/20 right? Seriously? You knew the numbers of both Ramon Ramirei? You knew Jim Corsi didn't wear a certain number? Jesus, that's savant-like. I got 7 out of 20 and thought that was pretty good.

Haha. Not really. My wife and I just found that TV isn't really necessary. We go to a bar or to a friend's house for Superbowl, playoff games, stuff like that, but other than sports I really don't miss it at all. We still watch movies, but I made a bike trainer that generates power, so to watch movies you have to pedal to make it work. We find that for the kids it self regulates the amount of time they watch when they have to provide the power.

The most depressing thing about no TV is that it's sometimes hard for me to finish crossword puzzles. My knowledge of Greek mythology or world history or literature isn't what's holding me back, it's Pop TV culture. Kind of sad, but whatever. I enjoy the extra time that would have gone to TV. :)

That's pretty interesting, I bet you're one of the last few TV holdouts

And I totally feel your pain, I love bar trivia nights but my abysmal pop culture knowledge kills me.

We may be some of the last few TV holdouts. We don't know many people that just don't have it. And I totally agree about bar trivia night. :D We try to do it with a group of four or five and always have to make sure that our group doesn't have any major deficiencies like that because like you, my pop culture knowledge is pitiful.
