You'll see. There are other reasons this team is failing. But Francona is one big one. His decisions will cause this team to fail, just like he busted our bullpen last year.

 

And Wakefield should be in the bullpen as long relief or mop-up. That could solve problems, but no. We have to have his inconsistent starts.

I don't think firing Franconna is the answer, but he certainly hasn't has a great start to the season.

 

Theres been a few times already when I would of thought about pinch hitting for Ortiz (vs Marte 2-14 doesn't lie) When Cameron/Drew/ came up late in the game in game 2 and 3.

 

He has used the pen terrible so far. Swsiher was 0-2 off Schoenweis but 1-2 with a home run against Bard and you bring Bard in? How is that smart?

2 at bats does not a good comparison make. He might have made that decision based on Swisher's numbers over the last few seasons. He hits lefties to a .052 higher OPS than righties. At the same time, Swisher is a dead red fastball hitter and bringing in a dead red pitcher seemed like a bad idea. Then again, Swisher hit a changeup for the game tying single

Actually, that describes me. I like the sport, so either way I'm satisfied, as long as the Yankees don't win. I don't see what's wrong with generalizing with game as opposed to specific teams.
