Eh. For some reason I can't get all that excited about April baseball.

I honestly think it may be because the Yankees traditionally start slow.

I understand playing Thames instead of Gardner against a RHP, especially at Fenway, but Gardner played well on Sunday. I was hoping he would be more of an everyday player, especially because of what it does to the Yankees' outfield defense. At least right now, it looks like the Yankees plan on going forward with a platoon.

EDIT: Girardi said that he will probably play regularly against lefties, but it won't always be for Gardner.

I get to test out my fancy new MLB.tv setup tonight woohoo

Is that the $20. deal? I thought that was for on-line coverage.

Looking forward to hearing Don and Jerry tonight. I couldn't get the game on NESN on Sunday night and had to suffer watching it on ESPN2.

Thank God for NESN. I pay about $100./month for to have NESN and Nickelodeon (for my 7 yr. old!).

It's money well spent (for now). Orsilo and Remy are very entertaining and notably honest.

Given that they are effectively Red Sox employees, it's remarkable how cantid (sp) they are.

I'm wondering how long Remy will be able to continue. Is he healthy enough to go full time and on the road? If not, who fills in? Eck? Others?

If Millar does not catch on with another team, I'd love to see him in the booth.
