y228, I typically dont question Sabathia. Who knows, maybe he isnt feeling his FB right now, maybe his change and slider are biting, who knows. Maybe he's just pitching in reverse for now and will then start showing the FB. Thing is, he's good enough to pitch in any direction

He didn't seem to have a feel for anything that inning, not just his fastball. His slider wasn't good, and unlike his fastball, his slider was missing in the zone. And the change-up wasn't diving like it usually does.

 

Thing is, I don't view my criticism as questioning CC. I view it as questioning the Yankees' pitch selection, which I think is borderline abysmal.

He's a 4th OFer at best in the future. He isnt a 4th OFer right now. The problem is, we'd either have to live with Thames in the OF or with Kearns who has been a black hole of suck lately. Until Swish can play the OF, we will have a black hole out there
