I guess it's my week to get annihilated by Keeper's team. Yays.

So far, my offense has been a no-show. This matchup is far from over. Heyward is probably DL-bound. Cano is banged up and will miss a few games. Morneau is being pitched around with Mauer out of the lineup. Thank God I'm getting Cruz back next week.

After my miserable start, my team is bouncing back, and my offense is doing pretty good even without Hawpe.

My spot-starters this week fared pretty well too. Lol Matt Latos.

Ended up coming back from down 7-2 on the last day to tie 5-5 with Keeper. I'll take it.

SFoC, I noticed you had Braden on the bench yesterday. Haha.

I didn't need him or any of my relievers. If they can't help, then sit em.

Yeah, I didn't look at your matchup but I figured you were doing that for a reason.

You can thank Matusz, Jenks, and Burnett. I thought Matusz would do so-so against all the lefties in the Twins lineup. He was awful. Jenks completely fell apart for an epic BS. I didn't like Burnett against the Sox at Fenway, but I got greedy and wanted to win in Ks. I knew I was sunk when Brian Wilson struck out 5 for a 5 out save. Never thought for a moment I could lose in WHIP. I think coming into the day, it was like 1.11. Three s***** performances later, and it's 1.33.

And my woes continue. Another outfielder bites the dust. Cruz, Heyward, and now Braun. Can't catch a break here. FML. <_>

If it makes you feel better, I have many of the same players in one of my leagues. And in the other league, I was up 10-8-2 going into the last day. I was down 2 K's, but I had Max Scherzer vs. Cleveland, Ian Kennedy vs. the Brewers, and Ubaldo Jimenez vs. the Dodgers while he had Livan Hernandez vs. the Marlins and Jason Vargas vs. the Angels. Low and behold, I did not win strikeouts, but all 3 of my pitchers got losses while his won, which meant that I lost wins and losses. Scherzer did bad enough to cost me ERA and WHIP. My hitters also went 2/25 while his hit nearly .500, which meant that I lost Average, OPS, and Hits.

Long story short, I was up 10-8-2 going into Sunday and left losing 6-11-3. It was my first big loss of the season. M*****f*****. So bulls***.

I feel your pain. I also had Scherzer and decided not to start him against the Guardians, even though they suck. Turns out I was right not to start him because he stunk it up, but had I gone with him instead of Matusz, I would have won in Ks and possibly WHIP. Go figure.

I say I "had" him because I dropped the bum and picked up Mike Leake.

I'm surprised that Leake was available in your league. I had him for a couple of starts towards the beginning of the season and dropped him (to balance my roster) and he got picked up and remained with another team for a few weeks. I don't think that he's available in any of my leagues.

That's odd. He's only owned by 20% or so in Yahoo. I think people are weary of Leake because he's right out of college. No professional experience whatsoever. And he pitches in a bandbox. But I like his 5-pitch arsenal and his feel for pitching.

Haha, he totally bailed out my offense today. Before Zimmerman, it was as ugly as it gets:

0 for 15, 2 BBs, 1 run scored

I noticed : 3 for 5' date=' 9 bases, 5 RBI, 2 runs ( unless he scored again ).[/quote']

 Yeah, just scored again. 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored, not bad. At least you won't have to worry about Capps getting a save.

Down by 2 SBs. Normally, starting Bourn would have been automatic, but I'm trying to pull away in total bases and Bourn's career numbers against Lincecum were atrocious coming into day. Also hadn't swiped a bag in awhile.

1-3 with 2 BBs, 3 SBs, 1 run scored later and FML.

Big trade. Extremely one-sided with the pitchers being dealt.

Santana and K-Rod for Pavano and Hoffman? WTF.

Voted against it.

But since we're ripping Gom a new one on both Fantasy Leagues due to s***** trades, isn't there a way to let him come back exclusively to the Fantasy Forums?

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Nice stream start with Kennedy, Dipre. I was just about to add him the other day when I saw you already had.

Smart trade, SFOC. I was trying to get Andrus myself and had offered Rasmus for him straight up. You would have been better off, redsoxrules, if you had traded with me. Oh well.

Started him in both leagues and watched the fireworks.
