Get used to that. When i get my ass kicked in ERA and WHIP, i usually match-up my starters to get K and QS. Usually works but it backfired this time.

In the other league, i picked Doug Fister against the CWS because he owns RHB. Too bad i forgot to pick him in this one.

I'm not a believer in Fister. His MiLB numbers are underwhelming. Traditionally, he's gotten hit pretty hard. He's one of those guys who has had success in MLB (in a SSS) where you're like, "How did that happen?"

I'm not either. I just liked the matchup because i analized his scouting and stuff. He lacks a pitch to get lefties out, so he's a walking platoon issue. But he's extremely hard on RHB, and lo and behold, the White Sox are a team without LH power. Matchup made in heaven.

 

VS RHB: .664 OPS

 

VS LHB: .739 OPS, but with a .453 SLG, even while pitching half his games in that stadium.

 

In fact, he's allowed 11 HR's, 9 of them to LHB.
