Smoak has super star potential. And Feliz is one of the top pitching prospects in the game, with Ace potential. The fact the Marlins didn't just at this deal(if it is indeed what is being reported) is puzzling. Do they think they can get more? I mean two top flight prospects is nothing to sneeze at. Maybe they are committed to JJ long term, but don't want to sign a deal this off season:dunno:

The Braves just traded Soriano to the Rays in exchange for reliever Jesse Chavez, who they got from Pittsburgh in the Iwamura trade.

 

Not surprising, but I think if the Braves would have kept him they would have had one hell of a bullpen.
