If on' date=' Burnett can match anyone. But Burnett cannot find the break on the curveball and cannot keep the heater down. Good thing we are up 3-1[/quote']

Right, but, even when he's going well, this Burnett shows up from time to time.

I really hope Joe goes to CC in game six, but I know it won't happen.

why game 6? You put CC on the hill on regular rest in Yankee stadium and I'll take that every time. Plus, Pettitte has been really frickin good.

Hahaha. HOW could you ENJOY that? They're losing!

What? I thought Teixeira walked and then A-Rod hit a grand slam? Isn't it 4-0 Yankees? What the hell is going on?!?!

Because, if it gets to a game 7, the Yankees' won't have the typical advantage that they're used to with CC on the mound (because of what the Angels would have done to get to that point). Also, with the way Joba and Hughes have looked lately, it might be valuable to have CC available out of the bullpen in game 7 for a couple batters.

Lol umpires.

Early X-mas gift for Lackey.

Yeah that pissed me off. If the Yankees get on him early, which may very well happen if Teixeira walks, the Angels may have folded.

But that is what it's been this postseason with the umpires. The Yankees, obviously, have received their share of gifts.

CC on regular rest can get you 8 innings and you can book it.

You don't think it would be a good idea for the Yankees to do everything they can to take care of this series in six. This reminds me of what they did with Mussina in 2004. Go for it when you have the chance. In my opinion, that was Torre's biggest mistake with the Yankees.

Never have i seen umpiring as horrible as this postseason. Never.

I think burnett will settle down for the rest of the time he is in the game.

the yankees just need to get base runners and chip away and not go for all four in one inning.

Or do either one, as long as they result in four more runs than the Angels in the next 7 innings.

Another umpire blunder' date=' hopefully they will have good umps in the world series.[/quote']

these playoffs have been pathetic and are going to cost some teams.

yes but don't swing for the fences i mean every batter. each batter needs to keep what they are doing like hitting for singles.

How do you know what the players are thinking?
