He's a nobody. He will get pounded and abused tonight.

I really hope you're right, but you would have to admit that you're basing your prediction on absolutely nothing.

None that I remember' date=' with the exception of his trust in Mota. It probably should have been Heilman in that spot. Besides that, I don't think you can blame him for anything else.[/quote']There were other missteps. I don't remember the particulars 3 years later.

According to the scouting report' date=' a700 is about right.[/quote']

If you're referring to his lack of stuff, I agree. But, even though it's a small sample, you cannot deny his success.

Tough to make a claim like that with no supporting evidence to back it up.

SSS.

I realize you mentioned it, but still.

I don't care enough to dig up the evidence. It's not a big relevant point. It suffices to say that unless the Yankees try hard, very hard to give this series away, they should sweep the Twins.

Besides that, I don't think you can blame him for anything else.[/quote']I just asked a Met fan at work about game 2, he reminded me that in the bottom of the 8th, game tied at 6......Mets got first two guys on......Randolph let Beltran swing away.......grounded into DP. A bunt would have moved the runners over.....Cards would have walked Delgado who had homered twice which would have loaded the bases for Wright. Randolph played for the 3 run homer when he only needed to break the tie. Huge mistake in the 8th inning.

Let me get this straight. With first and second and one out, with their number three hitter up, you want the Mets to bunt?

Get him over and get him in. Yeah, that's what the Met fan would have done, and I agree.
