I wouldn't be so sure that he goes with him for 2. If he can get out of this inning with a lead he might use Bard to close it out.

 

I really doubt he throws Bard in to close against the Rays, especially not with a pennant race going on, no rookie needs to be in that situation if it can be avoided.
