I saw that Rich Harden was claimed off waivers by a mystery team. Wonder if it could've been the Sox...

 

When I first read about Harden being claimed, I thought the same thing. Chicago will not let him go cheaply thought. He's due to be a type A FA.

Before you (or anyone) gets their hopes up, I believe that it was the Twins that claimed Rich Harden. The Cubs have also stated that they want prospects in return for the players they give up.

Heilman is reported to have been claimed by a NL team. No one has reported on Harden's mystery team last I knew.

 

 

 

But yes Harden would be a nice SP to add if he's healthy.

I find it hard to believe Hoffman or Harden would be traded unless it's an exceptional package, both players will be Type A FAs.
