Early on in the season, I saw him up close at a game and his bat was whipping through the zone very fast but his timing was off, but to the naked eye the bat speed seemed to be there. However, bat speed means nothing if your timing is shot. Well, he has his timing and he's hitting balls out to left, center and right. The team can get on his back and let him carry them when he's going like this.
