I said "not all". Anyway' date=' why? I root against them most of the time, but that is just to benefit the Yankees. I feel the same way about the Red Sox as I do about the Rays.[/quote']

You didnt have to live in Red Sox territory during one of their championship runs now have you? I have now spent about 7 yrs of my life in Massachusetts and 17 yrs of my life in CT. I think it is a different dynamic when you are surrounded by sox fans.

You should change your user name to Clint Eastwood.

Anyone can go crazy and hit .700 in a softball tournament.

But there is only one Clint.

It was over the course of an entire season, not just the playoffs.

Possibly, I mean, that is not something that I have experienced. I know plenty of Red Sox fans, but I don't live in the heart of the fan base. I'm not sure I would feel any differently even if I did, but I guess I can't say for certain.

As I am surrounded by Yankee fans, so 228 and Example can save their pious preaching of peaceful co-existence until they have walked a mile in our shoes.

absolutely. Its kinda funny. In college, my door to my dorm room would be covered in red sox paraphenalia after a sox win. I watched the 2001 world series game 7 in my best friend's room. And after Mo blew it, people were walking by my door every hour and waking me up. Someone actually pissed under my door and then doused my door in cologne and lit it on fire. Being the outgoing yankee fan deep in red sox territory is not fun. I imagine its the same deal in NY for sox fans

The holidays have been fun for me the last several years, but there were some years that it was pretty bad.

it proves he can have one good game.

It proves he has potential and if he beats you and that fat ass mother f***er CC who will die of a heart attack before his contract is over then it will be all that much sweeter

If you want us to believe you're not like Gom then don't act like a haughty bitch who laughs when things go your way.

I am the same no matter when we win or lose.

I sit here and take it when the Yankees lose. You guys hammer me when the do. In defense of Jacko [and hell has now officially frozen over], both he and I have been here, never ran away, and took it when our team s*** the bed. Just as fairly, we give it to you when you lose. If you can't take it, leave.

The old-time Red Sox fans, they are used to losing. They can take it. All you new bandwagon fans, the ones who can't even name five players from the 2002 Red Sox, you can all go and bite me. If you've ever given Jacko or me or any other Yankee fan s***, you expect we won't give you s*** when the tables are turned because this is a Red Sox site? Are you for real?

This is not meant towards any of the old guys here...ORS, Kilo, a700, SOTK, yeszir, etc. This is for the new guys who don't really realize that the rivalry is mainly there for the fact is the Red Sox NEVER won. They ALWAYS lost. 2004 turned everything upside down. It made the rivarly more intense, if possible. Im a way, even as a Yankee fan, it was a good thing.

So Jacko....fire away dude. If they can't take it, let them go cry to their mommies. I'm behind you on this one 100%.

If you don't have some kind of pitching ability you aren't going to throw a no Hitter

Posted

Rookie pitchers who threw no-hitters. Some All-Stars there, however the majority is garbage. Don't kid yourself.

I probably should not say as that would be a breach of trust. And I really like the young man.

Suffice it to say that Coco is hooked-up with a very good Sox connection. He has been there before.

Put the game on "Difficult" setting next time.
