P.S. a bit less than 2 hours until the game. Not enough time for any big projects' date=' and I don't have any little things that need doing right now. *scratches ass in a non-feminine way* *bored*[/quote']I like your style. By about 2 O'clock on the weekends I too declare that my procrastination has reached critical mass and that it would be pointless to start any project. It pisses off the spouse in a major way.

I agree with only one caveat. There are Yankee fans who don't actively seek out Sox fans for the purposes of gloating when they are on top. Fortunately' date=' with this being a site dedicated to the Red Sox, to some degree, every Yankee fan who enters here is seeking out Sox fans, and all are fair game (here).[/quote']

All Yankee fans who post regularly on a sox site need to have thick skin. So, if that is what you mean by fair game, then yeah, I guess we are.

Last night we threw arguably our best pitcher out there too. So it doesnt prove that anything can happen. It proves that good pitching can shut down good hitting on both sides.

OMF I hope CC gets torched today

Jacko is obviously not one of those.

Yankees228 is one of those and deserves our respect.

and how much slack has been given our way. Cmon now' date=' last yr the piling on was incredible and well deserved. It is a give and take, and those who are gonna crawl into a ball and cry foul when your team isnt going well are wimps. I take my lumps when they are needed. Hell, I posted the day after the sox comeback in 2004 (not this forum, but ask Crunchy) and I was here the day the sox won it in 2007 to congratulate you guys. So stop playing the victims here. This rivalry will have both parties eating crow for the foreseeable future, might as well let it continue as it has for decades.[/quote']I've got no problem with you. You understand that I will constantly needle every Yankee fan and I expect them to return the favor. Any Red Sox fan that complains when they are on the wrong side of things need to grow up and act like adults. They need to stop playing the Troll card with you. Some Yankee fans have suspiciously returned to this site recently, but we will have to tolerate that until the pendulum swings back and then they will go away. You are here through thick and thin for the most part. The posters that annoy me are the hit and run types like Diony. Dipre is good friends with Diony, and I think he should give him a beat down the next time Diony pulls that crap.

He's had his asshat moments too. Any Yankee fan who comes here should expect the same harsh treatment that Jackson gets.

Edit: No one is exempt

Would love to be reminded of those...

EDIT: Not that I expect preferential treatment.

Praying that Buchholz's finds his form today. He really needs to speed up his game. Really want to split this series. I'm a little numb though and can't escape thoughts of August 2006.

RE: jacko, I've "known" him (mjriv, baseballdoctor, The Rivernator, jacksonianmarch) since 2004. He did stick around after the 2004 ALCS and put up with a lot of s***. He's like an emotional rollercoaster with a touch of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He is capable of turning on anyone in a heart beat. You guys and gals are smart you can see with your own eyes.

And this is why I never let up on Yankee fans when we are on top... never. Those of you who thought if you treated them with respect and acted civilized that the same consideration would be returned by Yankee fans when the Yanks were on top were sadly mistaken. I've lived with these people all of my life. I understand them' date=' so I never give them any slack.[/quote']

Aye aye capt'n.

I don't treat any group of people as if they are all the same, but one would think that someone with as much vested interested in this board as Jacksonian has--he clearly doesn't have any Yankee-related boards he could go to, or else he would--would just shut up or at least give some props to the vanquished foe.

Instead he takes his dirty tampon and offers it to us to eat while leading the death march.

Let this be a lesson to all of us.

If this team sacks the f*** up and overtakes 1st again.

The Yankee-fan bashing must be relentless.

I post on 2 yankee boards. One is a prospect board. The other one is a yankee board that is dying. The problem with yankee boards essentially is dealing with people who live in NYC. Disagree and they threaten your life rather than debate. Any needling comments get met with confrontation rather than wit. I actually got met with a death threat for daring to spout the fact that RJ was washed up in his second yr in NY. Its a different dynamic.

They should be treated accordingly without exception. Now stop your whining and sack up. You are embarrassing me. (In Clint Eastwood's voice) :D

Completely false. Not all Yankee fans have this hatred towards the Red Sox.

You should change your user name to Clint Eastwood.

Anyone can go crazy and hit .700 in a softball tournament.

But there is only one Clint.

Pouring gas on the fire again I see a700.

Haha! 228 is the Yankee fan version of Example. Do you agree?

I do

I said "not all". Anyway, why? I root against them most of the time, but that is just to benefit the Yankees. I feel the same way about the Red Sox as I do about the Rays.

sounds about right' date=' but 228 doesnt fawn over every yankee prospect like example does[/quote']

Of course he doesn't.

That's your thing.
