I think that Martinez can catch Wakefield..Kottares isn't the only person in the league who can but it's not going to help with runners on base because Martinez is almost as bad as Varitek at controlling the running game.

 

I noted at the All-Star break that I found it curious that people could not see V-Mart catching Wake. What is the big deal? It will just take practice and repetition. Any MLB catcher should be able to do the job. Maybe it's a new challenge for most, but hell, it's their job!

 

Had Miribelli (sp) or Kottaras cought a knuckleballer before working with Wake?
