Cahill has surrendered 17 hr's to LHH in only 57 innings.

Are we feeling good tonight for our .235 hitting right fielder?

How can you not? Also helps that there are 3 other lefties and 2 switch hitters in the lineup tonight.

He basically just mentioned Buchholz, Lars, Bard, Masterson, etc as not being integral/central pieces of the team and thought they should try to make the trade. I don't think he really understands some of the talent we have. Sure, they might not be integral this season, but they are the future of this team, as in, the very near future.

He even said "It's not like we need to give up a established position player like a Pedrioa, Ellsbury, or Youk..."

I wouldn't trade bard.

So if they are successful in getting Halladay, what is the rotation? Beckett/Halladay/Lester/Wakefield/Penny? So Smoltz moves where, to the pen? DiceK, when ready, moves to the pen too? Who goes down to make room, Delcarmen and Saito?

Realistically, unless the Sox trade one of their starters, they have some interesting roster problems in bringing in Halladay.

well IF they were to get Halladay they would most likely trade Penny

Even if they landed Halladay they probly keep Penny. Is Dice K a sure bet to come back this season? Wake is always a concern. Unless they decided to put Masterson in the rotation if he isnt dealt.

Evening all,

Nice start by Beckett. Even after a good inning he's coming off the field swearing. Watch out A's:D
