Sir.

The Red Sox trotted out Mark Kotsay at 1B today.

The Yankees trotted out Cody Ransom at 3B, put their SP on a 65 pitch limit, and won their game on the road against a better team.

You'll have to do better.

Let's not overlook the Rays.

Indeed.

Price totally owned the Jays today.

That bullpen is piecing itself together, and the rotation is starting to look like the 2008 unit.

Add to that the fact that Burrell and Upton started hitting, and the resutl is me nearly s***ing my pants at every mention of the Rays.

They had Nick Swisher batting 2nd

He's on a hot streak again, so i fail to see your logic.

Anyways, the team IS sucking, but it'll get better.

we cant trade our pitching depth!!11

Do you ever make serious posts, or do you just panic over our team's performance and make fun of other posters (safely) sarcasticly? Seriously starting to wonder...

Jacoby's the only Red Sox regular hitting .300, so by your logic should he be hitting higher in the order?

Although sarcastic, that was the response of the people who were against the deal.

Cody Ransom knocked in 2 (difference in the game) and the team they played is 10-31 against them since 2002. But feel free to panic over it Jacko.

What about my posts are incorrect?

Remember when the Redsox were 2-7? Down like 7-0 at home to Baltimore? If in that point and time you told me the Redsox would be 51-34 on July 9th. I'd be estatic.

One of the reasons i love baseball. We lose, tomorrow is a new day and a new game.

They beat a better pitcher, from a better team, on the road.

and once again,

PAST PERFORMANCE DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH FUTURE RESULTS

Good point, you're always on point because you make subjective posts that can't be proven wrong. Guess we might as well just bend down to the Yankees (and you) now.

So, for those watching the postgame, is Tito saying what great pitches MDC and Masterson made, but they just got unlucky?

No.

By my logic, he should be our 9 hitter.

But since we have the awesomeness of Mark Kotsay and Nick Green in our lineup, then we can't have Jacoby in his rightful 9 spot, where he would be a weapon along with Drew and Pedey.

Not what I said, please tell me where I am wrong before you get so defensive.

But when Lowell and Lowrie come back, we're assured they'll fix what's wrong with this team right?

We're positive Lowell's hip won't flare up and Lowrie's wrist won't shatter?

You're totally right. I believe Julio Lugo can play defense Nick Green can hit because previous performance doesn't matter. While we're at it, why not count on Mark Kotsay to put up Pujols numbers! :wetodd:

Dude, previous performance matters. It matters A HELL OF A LOT in any sport.

Dude, previous performance matters. It's pretty much all that matters in a sport where you play 162 games.

When you say "The Angels are the Yankees Kryptonite" or "The Angels are the most successful team this decade" or "The Twins have gone 12-40 against the Yankees since 2002" you're projecting future results based on past performance.

With individual players, fine. But you're doing it with teams is my point.

Good point Jacko. I'm sure everything that could possibly go wrong will go wrong will go wrong and the Yankees will be in perfect health and beat us by 20 games.

So what?

Would you rather they keep Lowell and Lowrie on the DL?

That statement reeks of knee-jerk.

They won't fix all that is wrong with this team.

But let's face it: Nick Green and Mark Kotsay suck.

Madon!! 2 world series in 5 years. 2003 2004 2007 2008 LCS appearences. 2 pennants. Yet thekilo can't enjoy whats going on. What if this guy was a Cubs fan? Holy f***.

Am I supposed to be happy with the way the team is playing right now? Honest question.

I know I have you beat in the argument when you resort to childish tactics such as these.

Forgive me if I don't have the rose-colored glasses on.

No, all I'm saying is don't bank on them being the solution, either.
