Balentin was on first. The batter Johnson, bunted and was out 2-3. But Balentine, who ran to second, started to walk back to 1st thinking the bunt was foul. Bailey threw the ball to Green at 2nd who tagged Balentin out to end the inning.

This game was lost when they failed to get a single run after loading the bases with no one out and the 3-4-5 batters due. Everything since then is just a post mortem.
